Affordable Ownership

Some nonprofit developers build and sell housing that is affordable to low-income households. Conditions and eligibility vary depending on the program, but buyers generally must qualify for a mortgage, and are often required to attend homeownership classes and agree to restrictions on the price and conditions on resale.
