Permanent Supportive Housing
Supportive housing is housing combined with services that help people achieve residential stability, increase their skills and their incomes, and obtain greater self-determination. Services vary based on needs, but they may include:
- Case management
- Mental health services
- Addiction treatment
- Money management
- Therapeutic interventions
- Support coordination
- Benefits advocacy and income support assistance (Social Security, food assistance, etc.)
- Nutritional counseling
- Assistance in obtaining other resources and support such as child care, transportation, job training, and job placement
