RIVERVIEW TERRACE
Riverview Terrace consists of 115 one-bedroom apartments in a 10-story apartment building located in downtown Traverse City on the Boardman River. Occupancy is limited to those persons who are considered low income, who are 62 years of age or older, and/or disabled persons, according to the Social Security Act. Riverview Terrace opened in 1977. Security Deposit is equal to one (1) month’s rent. All utilities are included except for a $20.00 monthly charge for cable (expanded basic), telephone hookup and related charges.

LOCATION SERVED: You do not have to be a resident of the area to apply.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be at least 62 years of age or older, and/or disabled according to the Social Security Act. You must have an income of $35,450 or less for a single person or $40,500 for a family of two (2).
COST: Monthly rent is determined to be approximately 30% of an applicant’s adjusted annual income. Interest earned from assets is considered income.
